BRITNEY PLEADS FOR HER FREEDOM

Britney Spears pleaded for her freedom with a judge on Wednesday. Spears began her statement with, “I have a lot to say, so bear with me. I don’t think I was heard on any level when I came to court last time.” Spears then addressed her recent social media posts, admitting, “I’ve lied and told the whole world I’m OK and I’m happy. It’s a lie. I’ve been in denial. I’ve been in shock. I am traumatized.” Spears revealed that under her conservatorship she was told that she was “not able to get married and have a baby.” She claimed that “I have an IUD in my body right now that won’t let me have a baby. And my conservators won’t let me go to the doctor to take it out.” The pop star added, “I just want my life back. It’s been 13 years and it’s been enough. I want to be able to be heard.”

Celebrities used social media to show their support for Britney after she spoke out in court on Wednesday. “We love you Britney!! Stay strong.” Mariah Carey tweeted. Her former boyfriend Justin Timberlake wrote, “After what we saw today, we should all be supporting Britney at this time.”  Stars including Sarah Jessica Parker, Andy Cohen, Jesse Tyler Ferguson,Vera Wang and Lisa Rinna all shared the #FreeBritney.
