James Corden is bringing Carpool Karaoke to Apple

Apple Music has bought a 16-episode series based on James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke. The project is based on the popular Late Late Show segment and Corden and Ben Winston will produce. The show will feature a host, not Corden, driving celebrities to locations meaningful to them while singing. It will be available exclusively to Apple Music subscribers.

Lindsay Lohan apologized for her recent social media posts. On Tuesday she assured fans that she is “good and well.” Lohan wrote on Instagram, “I am sorry that I’ve exposed certain private matters recently. I was acting out of fear and sadness..We all make mistakes. Sadly mine have always been so public.”

HBO, Dwayne Johnson and Mark Wahlberg scored a victory in court today. A LA judge threw out the $200 million copyright infringement complaint against them. Everette Silas and Sherri Littleton claimed that the HBO series Ballers which stars Johnson and Wahlberg executive produces was based on their concept Off Season. “The themes and and concerns of the two concepts are widely different,” said Judge George Wu at a hearing on Monday in downtown Los Angeles.
