Jay-Z drops 4:44 and apologizes to Beyonce

Jay-Z dropped his new album 4:44 exclusively on TIDAL on Friday . The rapper appears to be responding to Beyonce’s revelations in Lemonade that he cheated on her. In the album’s title track Jay-Z says that his daughter Blue Ivy helped him change his ways and raps, “Took me too long for this song. I don’t deserve you.” In the song Kill Jay Z, he raps in third person, “You almost went Eric Benet let the baddest girl in the world get away.” Benet was married to Halle Barry but divorced three years later amid cheating rumors.

James Cromwell has been sentenced to jail for refusing to pay fines related to his arrest at a protest in New York. Cromwell was among six protesters found guilty of obstructing traffic at a December 2015 sit in at the site of a natural gas fired power plant being built. He was sentenced to seven days in jail. The 77-year-old was nominated for an Oscar for his role in Babe and has appeared in many films including The Green Mile and L.A. Confidential.

Big Bang star Johnny Galecki expressed his thanks to California firefighters days after a wildfire destroyed his ranch. “Thank you to the brothers and sisters of @calfire It is the profound risks that you accept and the sacrifices you and your families make that keep us safe,” the actor wrote on Instagram along with a photo of him alongside a firefighter.
