Katy Perry made Twitter history on Friday. The Witness singer is the first person to reach 100 million followers on Twitter making her the most followed person on the social media platform. Perry joined Twitter in 2009 and has sent out over 8500 tweets.
Jada Pinkett Smith said she is hurt by her portrayal in All Eyez On Me. Kat Graham plays Jada in the Tupac Shakur biopic which is in theaters today. “Forgive me…my relationship to Pac is too precious to me for the scenes in All Eyez On Me to stand as truth,” she tweeted. In a series of tweets Jada went on to fact check scenes in the film including one where Shakur reads a poem her in the film. “Pac never read me that poem. I didn’t know that poem existed until it was printed in his book,’ she explained. She concluded with “The re imagining of my relationship with Pac has been deeply hurtful.”
Janet Jackson and Wissiam Al Mana both appeared in court in London to begin their divorce proceedings. The singer and her estranged husband were both seen leaving the Royal Courts of Justice. According to an eyewitness the singer arrived for court at about 10am and left around 4 in the afternoon. She appeared to be in good spirits and had about seven people including her brother Randy with her.
