Mariska Hargitay and Dick Wolf celebrated Law & Order SVU at the Paley Center in Los Angeles. Hargitay has been part of the series for all 19 seasons. Wolf revealed that she landed the part after competing with about 100 others for the part. At the time she had a development deal with NBC and planned to do a sitcom for the network. After reading the script for SVU Hargitay recalled ”I said, ‘get me out of my development deal’. I’ve never loved anything more.”
MGM has their voice cast for its animated Addams Family. Charlize Theron will take on the role of Morticia. Chloe Grace Moretz will play Wednesday. Oscar Isaac as previously announced will play Gomez. Bette Midler, Nick Kroll, Finn Wolfhard and Allison Janney have also joined the cast.
Harvey Weinstein has plead not guilty to multiple sexual assault charges including rape. The disgraced producer was arrested on May 25th and quickly released on bail. He d due back in court on September 22nd for a hearing on motions in his case.
