Rose McGowan canceled an appearance at the Tallgrass Film Festival in Wichita, she was to be honored with the Ad Astra Award. Festival organizers said in a statement that she has canceled, “all upcoming public appearances due to compounding factors surrounding recent revelations in the Harvey Weinstein sexual harassment case.”
Chelsea Handler won’t do another season of her self titled talk show on Netflix.The comedian announced on Twitter that she will not be doing a third season of the show saying, I’ve decided not to return for another season of Chelsea and instead devote as much time as I can to becoming a more knowledgeable and engaged citizen and focus on projects that have significance to be. Handler said her goal is to “be better informed, raise my voice, and participate in a more meaningful way.”
Shia LaBeouf has plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of public drunkenness. The actor was arrested in July in Georgia on suspicion of public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and obstruction. LaBeouf appeared in court on Thursday in connection with the arrest and entered his guilty plea.
