Universal Studios’ new “Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle” light show is a must see for all Harry Potter fans. The show is the third to take place inThe Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
At night, an unlit Hogwarts becomes a huge canvas and projections make it come alive. The castle is under siege by dementors, spooky creatures and Voldemort. Parts of the castle appear to be struck by fire and lightning. Towards the end of the show Harry Potter’s patronus fills the night sky in the form of dozens of glowing drones. The show is accompanied by an exclusive musical arrangement conducted by William Ross and recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra in London, based on John Williams’ original music composed for the film series.
“Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle” took two years to develop and produce, and the results are magical.
You can visit Universal Studios Hollywood to watch the new “Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle” show each night, now through Sunday, April 28th. The show will also return for an encore performance from May 25th to 27th.
