An artist who goes by the name “Burls Art” on YouTube posted a video of the process involved in making a fully functioning electric guitar out of 1200 colored pencils. Perhaps even more impressively, the video has only been up for about a week and already has over 7 MILLION views. The artist starts by cutting the pencils into pieces, lining them up in a box, and then pouring epoxy resin over the top to hold them all together. From there, he shapes the piece, sanding, adding enamel, and polishing. It’s mesmerizing to watch:
