STARS share their SUPPORT for the WGA STRIKE

Before the start of the WGA strike several stars showed their support for TV and Film writers on the red carpet at the Met Gala. “Everything changed with streaming and everyone needs to be compensated for their work,” Amanda Seyfried told Variety.  Jimmy Fallon said “I wouldn’t have a show if it wasn’t for my writers and I support them all the way.”  Olivia Wilde told Reuters, “I support the writers, and I think it’ll affect all of us. It’ll affect every part of the industry, and people beyond the industry.

Serena Williams is pregnant with baby #2. The tennis legend announced the news on the way to the Met Gala Monday night. Williams posted a picture of herself and her husband Alexis Ohanian dressed for the big event on Instagram. She captioned the photo, “Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala.”

Emma Watson revealed why she hasn’t made a movie in five years.  “The thing I found really hard was that I had to go out and sell something that I really didn’t have very much control over,” the Harry Potter star told The Financial Times.  “It was very difficult to have to be the face and the spokesperson for things where I didn’t get to be involved in the process.” Her last film appearance was Little Women in 2018.
