Alec Baldwin has been charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection with the shooting death of Halyna Hutchins on the set of the film Rust. Court papers filed in New Mexico on Tuesday state that standard film safety protocols were not followed on the set. This deviation from known standards directly caused the fatal shooting. The armourer for the film Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was also charged. They face up to 18 months in prison if found guilty.
Will Smith and Martin Lawrence announced that they will team up for another Bad Boys movie. The pair took to social media to announce that “Bad Boys 4 Life” is on the way. It will be the fourth film in the franchise that has grossed more than $840 million worldwide. According to Deadline the new film is in early pre-production.
Laverne & Shirley star Cindy Williams has passed away at the age of 75. Williams died in Los Angeles on Wednesday after a brief illness. “The passing of our kind, hilarious mother, Cindy Williams, has brought us insurmountable sadness that could never truly be expressed,” her children Zak and Emily said in a statement.
