Bruno Mars donates $1 million to Flint

Bruno Mars is donating  $1 million to provide aid to the victims of the Flint water crisis . Mars made the announcement during  his concert at the Palace in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Funds from the ticket sales to the sold out show will be redirected to the Community Foundation of Greater Flint. “I’m very thankful to the Michigan audience for joining me in supporting this cause. Ongoing challenges remain years later for Flint residents, and it’s important that we don’t forget our brothers and sisters affected by this disaster,” Mars said in a statement.

Shonda Rhimes has signed a multi-year deal with Netflix ending her 15-year relationship with ABC Studios. Rhimes has supplied ABC with some of its most successful dramas including Grey’s Anatomy  Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder. Rhimes will begin producing new series for Netflix while she continues to be involved with her current broadcast series.

Tom Cruise appeared to suffer an injury on the set of Mission Impossible 6 in London on Sunday while performing a stunt. TMZ posted a video of Cruise jumping from a platform to a building and he misses the landing. Cruise is then seen limping over to crew members who help him up where he is then escorted away. No word on the extent of the injury.
