CHRIS ROCK says HE IS NOT A VICTIM

Chris Rock addressed the infamous Oscar slap by Will Smith during a recent comedy show at PNC Bank Arts Center in New Jersey. According to Us Weekly the comedian said he is not a victim, but joked that it hurt getting slapped by Smith on the Oscar stage. “Anyone who says words hurt has never been punched in the face,” Rock said, later adding, “I shook that shit off and went to work the next day. I don’t go to the hospital for a paper cut.”

Retta opened up about why Good Girls was canceled during her appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan. When Kelly asked her if she could confirm that the show was really canceled the comedian responded, “We were very close to a fifth season, but one person ruined it for all of cast and crew and so it’s not back.” She told the hosts, “Trust me, Kelly! I’m salty! I was like, ‘OK, maybe there was a bomb scare at some point and then a bomb actually went off and that’s why that person’s gone.'”

Happy 100th birthday to Norman Lear. He revealed his birthday plans to USA Today. “My birthday will entirely consist of waking up in the morning to find my kids and grandkids there and spending the day together,” he said. “That’s it. Turning 100 has allowed me to already do a century of things.”
