Ryan Secret is Kelly Ripa’s new co-host on ABC’s Live. On Monday’s show Kelly and Ryan walked on stage holding hands. Seacrest joins Ripa one year after Michael Strahan left abruptly for a job at Good Morning America. Live with Kelly and Ryan returns Seacrest to regular broadcast television a year after his hosting gig on American Idol ended after 15 seasons.
Production on TNT’s The Last Ship has been temporarily paused due to Eric Dane’s battle with depression. Dane’s rep told Variety, “Eric asked for a break to deal with personal issues. He suffers from depression and has asked for a few weeks of downtime and the producers kindly granted the request. He looks forward to returning.” Season 4 of the The Last Ship is set to premiere this summer.
After months of denials and declaring he had “no cancer whatsoever,” Val Kilmer has confirmed he had cancer. During a Reddit Ask Me Anything session Kilmer was asked about Michael Douglas’ previous comments that he had throat cancer. “He was probably trying to help me cause press probably asked where I was these days and I did have a healing of cancer, but my tongue is still swollen altho healing all the time.”
