Biltmore to host 45+ costumes from 1997 movie Titanic

If you’ve dreamed of walking amongst the Titanic’s first class passengers next to Kate and Leo, this may be the closest you’ll ever get. In the world’s first large-scale exhibition of fashions from the movie Titanic, North Carolina’s Biltmore Estate will host an exhibition with more than 45 of the film’s Oscar winning costume designs. The exhibit runs for three months starting February 9, and it looks like the costumes will be displayed on mannequins through the rooms of the house. *SWOON*. The Biltmore is already a romantic place to take a stroll while you check out the gilded grounds still owned by George Vanderbilt’s descendants, but they’ve upped the fairy tale factor with Valentine’s Day packages at the estate’s hotel and restaurant. This definitely sounds worth the trip.
