Selena Gomez opens up about her kidney transplant

Selena Gomez is opening up about her kidney transplant. In a teaser for her interview with The Today Show, Gomez sits alongside her friend Francia Raisa who donated her kidney to the singer. “My kidneys were just done,” Gomez said. “That was it. And I didn’t want to ask a single person in my life, and that was the day I came home when I found out. And she volunteered and did it.” Gomez also said that her friend save her life. The full interview will air on Monday and Tuesday next week.

Simon Cowell was rushed to the hospital Friday morning after fainting and falling down the stairs at his London home. The America’s Got Talent Judge has been released and was photographed returning to his home Friday afternoon. He was smiling and flashed a thumbs up for the camera. “I’ve got a bit of concussion. I feel better now,” he said and thanked fans for their concern.

Rose McGowan made her first public appearance since the Harvey Weinstein scandal broke on Friday. She delivered a passionate speech during the inaugural Women’s Convention in Detroit. “I have been silenced for 20 years. I have been slut shamed, I’ve been harassed, I’ve been maligned. And you know what? I’m just like you,” McGowan said.  “What happened to me behind the scenes happens to all of us in society and it cannot stand and it will not stand.”
